1. Niagara Falls

Spend about 3 hours exploring Niagara Falls at your own pace. Start by enjoying the best view from the edge of the falls. Once done, there are plenty of attractions to choose from, such as Journey Behind the Falls, where you can take a peek behind the curtain of falling water, or exploring the Power Station Museum with its tunnel leading to the base of the Falls. You can also spot a 100-year-old shipwreck on the rocks above the falls or stroll across the bridge to the USA (passport needed). Enjoy a snack at a nearby café in the Welcome Center next to the Falls. For adults, there are casinos, and kids can enjoy attractions on Clifton Hill. Admission to Niagara Falls itself is free, but admission to specific attractions is not included.

2. Niagara Falls Boat Tour 

The Voyage to the Falls boat tour on the Niagara River offers an up-close view of the Niagara Gorge, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls, with a close approach to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Running seasonally from April to November, the tour provides a unique perspective on the natural beauty and power of Niagara Falls.

3. Skylon Tower

You have the option to visit the Skylon Tower, which offers the highest observation deck in Niagara. This is the best spot for a bird's-eye view of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area, with a 360-degree perspective. On clear days, visibility reaches up to 80 miles (125 km) across both Canada and the U.S.

4. White Water Walk

Descend 70 meters by elevator to the bottom of the Niagara Gorge (seasonal availability) and access a quarter-mile boardwalk along the Niagara River's shoreline. This site features North America's largest series of standing waves. The White Water Walk provides a close view of the Niagara River's Class 6 whitewater rapids, some of the most powerful in North America.

5. Whirlpool Aero Car

Take a moment to capture a photo of North America's largest whirlpool, or take the Aero Car ride over the Niagara River's Whirlpool (seasonal availability).

6. Inniskillin Winery

Visit Inniskillin Winery, a renowned Canadian winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, celebrated for its award-winning Icewine, made from naturally frozen grapes. Enjoy guided tours, learn about the winemaking process, and sample a range of their premium wines.

8. Niagara-on-the-Lake

Discover the beauty and history of Niagara-on-the-Lake, an 18th-century town on the shores of Lake Ontario. Spend about an hour exploring its historic sites, including Fort Mississauga, built to defend British land from the U.S. Army. Weather permitting, you can enjoy views of Toronto across Lake Ontario. The town also offers a variety of restaurants and souvenir shops. If you're a golf enthusiast, don't miss the Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club, one of the oldest golf courses in North America, dating back to 1885.

9. Wayne Gretzky Winery

Explore further the world of Niagara wineries, famous for ice wine and scenic vineyards between Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment. Your tour can include a visit to the Wayne Gretzky Niagara winery, founded by the legendary Canadian hockey player Wayne Gretzky. This winery offers a unique blend of sports and winemaking, where you’ll have the opportunity to savor their exceptional wines, including their acclaimed ice wine.
